Apparently people get their understanding of the hearings secondhand from talking heads within the legacy media. I've watched the hearings in their entirety and then I watch CNN or MSNBC coverage later that day and i see abhorrently edited clips with zero context. Not to mention they always say "another damning day of revelations for the Trump presidency" even when the witnesses at the hearing, when asked if they had any evidence of Donald Trump committing impeachable offenses, they either said "no" or "I believe so". All their knowledge of the phone call is second or even third hand. This whole impeachment is a political coup that started the moment Donald Trump won the election.
First it was Russian collusion, then it was Stormy Daniels, now it's Ukraine. And I'm certain after this one fails, they will concoct another one.
2/3 of the senate will need to vote, so the fact that it will never be voted by republicans means president trump won’t be impeached. So this impeachment trial only serves to smear his name to the public to sway people’s opinion that the president is corrupt in hopes to vote democrat on the up coming election.
