Why do cops focus more on making money from charges rather than rescuing someone? I understand these guys weren't completely in the right (shooting in someone else's forest), but why did they need to bring a drug dog to bypass our 4th amendment right instead of searching for the owner of the car and asking what they are doing? Obviously they weren't fleeing because they returned to the car in compliance.
