OnePlus Nord N200 Review

How much does it actually cost to get a 5G phone? A little over a year ago 5G was limited to only the most premium of flagship phones, but today it can be had for a little under $250. Still, is the OnePlus Nord N200 anything more than a rebadged Oppo phone? Here is the TLDR on the Nord N200.

  1. I've had the phone for 3 weeks, and I wouldn't pay the extra $60 to get the n10 or any other budget phone. It's fast enough and the "mediocre" cameras can recognize small text even in low light. Furthermore, with Android 12 around the corner, it will see a slight bump in performance, aesthetics, and privacy.

    The fingerprint scanner works most of the time, but make sure you train it with a wide variation of thumbprints. My only gripe is the IPS display which is hard to see in strong outdoor sunlight; when I was in a junkyard, I couldn't answer a call because I couldn't see anything. Hopefully, the adaptive brightness setting works! All in all, I'm very happy that I made a transition to actually having a phone. 😀
