13. Biden may have voted for Iraq, but Bush/Cheney said they'd just send WMD inspectors on the ground, and not go to war. They lied. The Bankruptcy Bill was good for consumers and middle class families and put more money in their pocket. NAFTA and PNTR created good-paying, middle-class jobs that made the Clinton economy strong, and increased our exports and GDP. I'm tired of hearing that opposition to Medicare for All, a radical idea, is a Republican talking point. The Democrats should be the party of the people, and the Biden Public Option would not raise taxes on families who are already squeezed by rising costs and stagnant incomes. It's ideas like Medicare for All that make the map look as red as Trump 2016.

18. I don't trust what Bernie says as he doesn't know what he is talking about with the Canadian health plan. There is no national Canada Health Plan, it is run Province by Province with some contribution from the Federal Govt in funding. In most of Canada there were no premiums for basic coverage, however I live in British Columbia, Canada and up until the NDP was elected in May 2017 I was paying $300 / mo for my wife and I for basic medical coverage and an additional $350 / month for supplemental coverage for precriptions, dentist , eye care / glasses chiropractors etc… . The $300 basic rate was then reduced to $150 and on Jan 1st 2020 it was eliminated. So is he only talking about the amount the Canadian Federal Govt spends on health care per person because each Province spends more than the Federal Govt. contributes and includng prescriptions, eye care etc… will add a large amount of expenditures. Also, under the single payer system doctors make much less than their counterparts in the US. Are doctors going to be willing to earn less $$$. Will the union, govt workers etc… who have great health care not pay additional taxes because they are keeping their own policies? Finally, I wait at least 12 months to see a specialist after I get a recommendation from my doctor and then 6 months or more to schedule surgery. How will he reduce waiting times for specialists / surgeries?

I'm Canadian 40% of every tax dollar goes towards healthcare so I do pay we have no private clinics the system is great if you have a heart attack or cancer , its a 6 month wait for mri 4-6 years knee replacement I waited 6 hours in a waiting room passing a kidney stone medication is not free depending on the province there are some changes, I think trying to change to the Canadian style system at this time would bankrupt your country.
