  1. According to Genesis 15: 7-14, God told Abram that he and his people where brought out to take possession of a foreign land. At first in a sacrifice Abram fought and drove vulture birds of prey away. But when Abram fell into a deep sleep God revealed a dream vision of terror saying that his descendants will be enslaved as strangers and mistreated in the land. So if we seek God without distraction and endure against the vulture birds of prey like Abram, after four hundred years God will punish them.

  2. She, the birth mother and the baby all screwed..what an idiot to attempt what she did and not go through proper channels

  3. I just saw this news today but why are people commenting that baby is not safe in the hands of government? what would you want to do? just let the baby on the hands of that human tafficker? We have security here too that if you see a baby in that xray machine then the security need to do something and you want them just let it pass by? Thats not gonna happen. I dont get the logic?! as if the local government will not take care of the baby. yes, our country has corrupt officials and a third world country but it doesnt mean it cant help a baby. and of course, that woman gonna go to jail and thats what authorities need to do.

  4. I'm from the philippines i don't think she deserved life in prison here Why she is mother of 5 childrens they need her. Then beside she never hurt the baby base on medical. How about the people who kill people, drug adict, rapist incist, almost 75% of them didn't recieved life in prison. sorry to my grammar i never go to school so forgive me guys. But pls help this lady share your thought about this incident issue.

  5. "I will not become a dictator, I will just ask everybody to follow the law. But then, I'll be strict and harsh.
There is a law, don't do drugs, don't kidnap, don't be corrupt, don't plant bullets. Pay taxes"

    -President Rodrigo Duterte

  6. foreigners say the actions of the american woman was ridiculous because she hid the baby inside a sling bag and her intentions wasn't established correctly, we'll good for them they understand how the law works, but unfortunately my fellow filipino people they rather sympathize to that american woman saying She just want to give better life to that baby, duh! how did you know her intentions if there are no documents supporting it, and obviously she broke the anti-human trafficking law she should have known that since that's an international law.

I feel disappointed to my fellow people for their poor comprehension of certain situation or are they just being too much sympathetic.

  7. This news become a hot issue all over weekends here in the Philippines. For me, the woman has a good intention about adopting the baby but she don't undergo a legal process on it. Both parents agreed about adoption since they already have a signed and notarized consent but that document is not enough to travel the baby.
I hope that the U.S Government will help her resolving the case. For me, She has a good intention.

  8. Holy $#!t this woman is f***ed in the jail. The Philippine govt is tight AF when Duterte came into power. They probably used to do this when the previous corrupt gov't was in power. I have seen the prison over there, it is not like a holiday prison cell in the US.

  9. Our country the philippines has a heavy punishment for human trafficking its a serious life inprisonement once proven, and we have Republic Act 7610 or we call it here Anti Violence against Women and Children Protection Act that includes child trafficking, poor she does not know how serious it is as well as the biological parents.

Those bilogical parents did not think to make it legal 😔 adoption process.

  10. Sounds like she was trying to do an easy adoption. Agencies come with endless paperwork and fees. I know people who've adopted.. the "right way" is similar to immigration..its expensive and takes years. Unless she had intentions on using or abusing the child, it looks like an adoption that cuts out the middle man.. which was the way it used to be before "agencies" and the court system decided to get their cut of the transaction.

  11. I think she saw the baby online and couldn't believe the lady was sale a baby. So she didn't have much option steal it or buy it. She felt sorry for the baby.. I think it's mostly the salers fault not hers but she needs to go to prison for a couple of years she could of just called the police in the first place. 😊👍

  12. OK she could have done better by getting papers showing the baby belongs to her ,I don't think this lady was trafficking . I believe it was an Era in her judgement wanting another child but had to go to a country where 1000or 2000us is acceptable instead of the 50,000 us dollars American asked. I pray all goes well for the sake of the other children.

  13. She really tried to BUY a HUMAN BEING online and smuggle it through airport security like it was contraband and not an infant, a PERSON! Whew chilay the entitlement, the privileged, the audacity to try and get away with this!! And she’ll probably get off with those crocodile tears 🙄 AND she already has children she just wanted another one!!! Ugh I’m disgusted!!! She literally did all the same things and broke all the same laws as sex traffickers when they’re purchasing women and children overseas for sex trafficking. What a fool.

  14. Stupid people in the comments seriously defending this woman? What kind of "wonderful mother" puts a baby inside a sling bag? Lol.. if she want to have the baby then she should have done it legally..

  15. "BABY IS SAFE IN THE HANDS OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT"? Wow! There are some really naive news reporters out there. Not excusing the biological mother or this lady…but that last statement was a doozy.

  16. Adoption must be legal in process,.it's really sad to this American mother. she's realize now that Philippine overnment are very strict when it comes to human trafficking and drugs..I think she will be deported back to u.s..

  17. A horrible choice of country to be behind bars. If only this woman knew what its like to be an inmate in this country she would have picked the middle east instead.
