  34. Ok, a couple things about this fella… One, I think he has potential to be the next president – but he needs to polish his act up just a little bit. First, he can't be using cuss words with flippant, annoying reporters whenever they get to be too much – ask any former president, reporters constantly challenging and heckling you just come with the job. Second, I'm sure he is sincere when he talks about 'stepping up' gun control – but as a potential supporter of his candidacy, I need to know exactly WHAT it is he plans to do about it. How does he (or any Dem, for that matter) plan on countering the lucrative, stubborn NRA lobbyists, as well as those Republicans (not all, but some) going around telling everyone that 'Democrats want to take your guns away'? How do we balance respect for the 2nd Amendment with changes in how we deal with the business of guns in general? It's not an easy issue to resolve. And as a (lifelong) resident of MA, I can relate to him when he said an experience so close to home 'changes you' (it most certainly does). As an independent voter, I am watching and listening all the time, but as Americans I think we now want (and need) concrete actions to back up the words that we hear.
