  1. Nostalgia aside, Android phones back in the day were a laggy mess through and through every single one of them.

HTC made some of the laggiest frustrating mess of phones and Sony made phones with mediocre cameras and crappiest displays.

Fast forward today, even midrange phones offer excellent hardware are lag free and can play games on high settings.

  2. It's amazingly interesting old phone running modern stuff. What's really sad is there still some current phones that can't even keep up. If Android was optimized more correctly and updated correctly more phones might actually be usable longer.

  3. I’m about to install some clean rom on my gs9… I can’t comprehend how rubbish the experience is on such a modern device… soooo laggy πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ.

  4. It’s flash.. i think it’s official android 11.. just flash πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  5. tbh id rather go back to android 9, ever since android 10 and 11 wifi turns off when my screen goes off for a few mins, meaning i get delayed messages and whatsapp doesn't even work when someone tries to phone me, most sites say turn off battery optimizing features, i couldnt turn off anymore if i tried lol, both my Galaxy A70 phone and Galaxy S5e tablet have the same issues

  6. Hahaaaaa thats pretty amazing. Am nostalgic of old phones. And a month ago i got an S2 Plus and an S3 Neo.
Am wondering if anyhow andoid 10 or 11 is available for S3 Neo.

  7. Woww! What was Android 2.3 called? "Gingerbread", or something? I didn't even HAVE Android, nor iOS touchscreen technology ANYTHING back then! I think I was using Android ICS when I had my first smartphone, and that was a cheapie Motorola something… Great big 4 GB storage, 1 whole GB RAM!

  8. everything gets banned in the name of sustainabilty, but megacorps forcing you to buy new stuff to even get security updates is just fine

  9. I just flashed Lineage OS 18.1 in my Lenovo P2 and upgraded successfully for the 5th time.. It is my current device and I am stoked, 5 years of usage can be extracted from android smartphones.. In my case, P2 was supported with 1 OS upgrade by Lenovo and rest 4 by Lineage OS.. The Custom ROM community has been crucial, in helping me having the best use of my phone…

  12. That's means phone companies wants those old phone to die, if keep updating the system, may can update for about 10 years, without the problem of hardware.
However as you know Windows 11 can run apk files soon, and I also wish Android can run .exe, looooooool.
