  23. Toronto Raptors had 3.5 million people come out to their parade. This women's team has maybe 3,000 people in attendance for their parade. We shut down the streets and get the police involved for this nonsense? I think the store owners just want their streets back.

  38. The girls embarrassed themselves begging for more money that they do not deserve. At least the men's game generates revenue into the billions world wide. No one cares about the inferior product the girls put on. It is like the WNBA of soccor. They chase around a little round ball (slowly) while the rest of us produce goods and services that actually make our lives better. Sorry girls. Go back to school. Learn a trade. And oh yea.   44. I’m all for equal pay but only if the women’s game brings in the same $6.1 billion the men’s game brings in. Yes $6.1 billion. Over 1 billion viewers watched the last men’s World Cup final. Let’s compare that to the super bowl that had 150m viewers and you can see what an impossible chance of women’s football having equal pay. Nice idea , but will never happen.
    I cant feel sorry for them though. The $90,000 they get for winning the World Cup is in comparison huge compared to say the England men’s team who reached the World Cup semi final who get paid nothing, ZERO ! For representing their country. I thought you Americans were all about the flag? I think you should replace the stars with $ $ $ $

  45. I've seen high school and college women's soccer teams with more character and maturity. There were times when they were poor winners on the field, and now their protests have gone beyond the ridiculous. They are hiding behind the 'equal pay' movement, but they are pushing the gay agenda and a hatred for the government.
    Get over it.
    Most of us don't trust our government, but if we protested ON THE JOB like you do, and make complete buffoons of ourselves while doing it, we'd be out of work. And all of us have been dealing with unequal pay for decades now. We don't need a bunch of crass, angry feminists to fight the cause for us, especially since you're doing it in such a way that virtually ensures all you get out of this is a bunch of bad publicity – with no change. Who coached you into thinking this was a smart course of action?

    You represent the US Women's Soccer Team. Do that and that only, or get off the team. Set an example for young kids who want to play the game, as some of you are heroes to many of them.
    You also represent your friends and families, and your fans. Other than being poor winners about it, you are doing a horrible job of representing anyone except yourselves. Twerking and protesting while in uniform, cursing and foul language have no place in sports – men's or women's – and are way out of bounds.

    I can't believe it's come to this. These are not enlightened women, they are ignorant. The things they said at their parade will forever haunt them and shows that few of them are actually ladies.
    They have become over-confident with their abilities and their winning season, and the lies the left has ingrained into their heads has made them that way.

    Shame on you who will not stand for the flag, and who hate so much while getting paid to represent your country that you will not do the right thing. The right thing is to protest apart from your team and your uniform and the field you play on, and do it in another venue.

    And remember this. Your views represent the minority in this country. The minority. And the many of the rest of us don't appreciate what you've been doing with your views.
