You know everyone is saying that her positive outlook to losing her leg and fingers is the right reaction. If that's how she feels right now then good for her, but it's okay if she isn't happy about it too. It's going to be hard and she should know that it is okay to not always be happy with the way things are, to let herself feel negative emotions, because those feelings are valid too.
