   Total Solar Eclipse is a pure magic. On 2 July 2019 I was in Chile to witness this mystical phenomenon. My geographical position was in the middle of totality path width of 145.1 km. For 2 minutes and 20 seconds I was in privilege to stand litteraly in the sadow of the moon. The umbral velocity, the moon shadow was flying with 2,911 km/s (10 479,6 km/h) over my head. A brief surreal moment. This is my visual testimony what has really happend that day.

2. I've just seen a documentary from abc news on the military coup in Chile in 1973. Comments had been eliminated that's why I use this space from cbs news to complain about it.It was a shame how they lied and manipulated events. Among ather things they spoke of thirty thousand deaths caused by the military. Wrong information. A thorough investigation carried out after democracy returned in the 1990's determined this death toll at around 2,700. "Informe Rettig". Death is never right but if you put the events under the right perspective you'll understand why it was so.
