  1. Educating the public isn't going to make any difference. The snorkling operator should have had a first aid kit on the boat, and also have first aid training. This girl was pulled out of the water alive because her mother fought off the sharks, but the tour operators did nothing to help save her life. The needed to tie a tourniquet around her arm & leg to slow down the bleeding.

  2. 3:30 dawn and dusk, correct, but I wish he had mentioned blood. If you have any kind of cut, scrape, nose bleed, if you are menstruating, it's best not to get into shark populated waters.

  3. I know that shark attacks are extremely rare (you are 30 times more likely to be trampled by a horse or cow) but this still does not excuse the fact than a woman lost her life and her loved ones are permanently traumatized. I don’t want to sound mean but sharks are horrible creatures. I’m 14. One of my friends was killed by a shark. His parents were so traumatized that they had to be hospitalized. I am a shark attack survivor and I can no longer walk on my own, which makes me very depressed.

  4. I’m in Australia, as-well as being an indigenous person.
I feel as if I was ever attacked, I deserve what ever happens to me. It’s the animals land and I’m invading ❤️

  5. Even when 🤔 i served in the U.S navy I never liked swimming in the ocean. What is lurking below ? The one time I did swim in the ocean I nearly drowned. That was in the eastern carribean in St. Martin in March 1996. Thank you to the young Australian teen that swam to me. I am here because of you. Stay in the pool not the ocean.

  6. Extremely rare attack hmm……says experts…its still an attack and someone's lost their beautiful life you can never say its rare you never know what a wild animal is going to do!!

  7. This is why I stay out of the Ocean!!! You know there are sharks in the water!!!! Educating ourselves?? About what we should do and should not do. What we should do is STAY OUT OF THE WATER!!

  8. All these idiots saying don't swim in the ocean 🙄. It's highly unlikely you'll be attacked by a shark statistically speaking. All of you commenting are more likely to die from your over-processed diets and the anxiety that seems to plague all of you. Get a grip, get over yourselves. It's literally a 1 in 3.7 million chance to get killed by shark.

  9. It just doesnt make sense to me why people go in shark infested waters. & why the fukk they keep saying sharks are rare? No there not. There more common than train/plane crashes put together.

  10. tiger sharks abd Bull sharks have those curved serrated teeth like saw blades..they can snip an arm or leg off like a slim jim
