I thought these major international airports have their own dedicated emergency power plants in event of a power outage that go online in less than 5 minutes.

I hate to fly. Havent flown in many many years. If we go anywhere in the country we just drive. I dont trust flying. Wont do it again if I dont have to.
LA has patches of rolling power outage for a while now. I would stand outside of my apartment in San Gabriel valley 15 minutes near downtown LA and can not make a cellphone call properly without yelling……Road surfaces cracked all over the places, while the rent is moving up fast and the poor and homeless are shooting up. Coming back from Asia to LAX's low ceiling dark immigration reception area is spooky and depressing, not to mention seeing security guards everywhere having shitloads of guns and weapons strap around their waist.
Ehhhh, not so free and not that welcoming. I am glad they just announced to spend money upgrading the airport. Let's hope it does not turn into a shitshow like our high speed rail.

ABC News should see the Loooong lines at the Port of Los Angeles. When the terminals have computer problems, or when ever labor take their hour lunch. The lines of truckers get so backed up the lines overflow onto the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro. Sheesh.
