4. I live in Virginia Beach. Nobody here is aware this guy was a black Muslim. Fast forward to 3 years later, the public still knows nothing, as we watch media outlets comb over the social media and political affiliations of the ATL shooter only three hours after the first 911 calls.

9. A guy loses his mind and goes on a rampage and the media closes in talking about how he got a silencer? How stupid can people be? The silencer didn't give the guy a significant tactical advantage. The security access apparatus did. The guy had access to a great portion of the building while first-responders did not and that hampered their engagement with the shooter. We agree that the guns were purchased legally. What does that background check do for us? Does it check his mental health history? Does the background check mandate that an investigator talk with friends, family and neighbors? Is there enough due diligence in our background checks for procurement? These are the compromises we must look at to ensure that our freedom to bear arms is not infringed upon WHILE doing what we must to address public safety. Having said that, there will always be that small percentage of people that lose their minds. With freedom doesn't come free…there are risks and as a society, we must look at those risks and weigh their value.

Sessoms bought the land where my home was for 33 years. Homeless for four years. He had the nerve to threaten me if I wouldn't year down my own house. Didn't pay me a dime at all! Now the same people are at it again! Using my friend's place she rented through HUD as a way too get at me. I used to rent from the same people but the maintenance men threatened and tried to hurt and harm my cats. One in which had her paw broke by one of them. My 3 cats had kidney disease and we're dying. One maintenance man tried to pick up my little Tara and throw him outside. He died two days later. They never fix much and when they did not very good. Cockroaches in the thousands. Place was in a shambles. When I complained they try to get me evicted. I had too move in a tent in my lady's backyard. Which is the reason I got so many cats. I love them and I will fight for them. Mark my words! VA. Beach Va is evil! I could tell a helluva more things here. But I feel a seizure trying to get the best of me. I am 61 and on S.S. I. for disabilities! No shelters would take me in so I built my camper too keep us warm. Now these folks don't want that. They would kill my cats. Neighborhood e drugs, killing, and prostitution! Bad people here! Ken

Sad story and don’t wish nothing like this on my worst enemy.. to pass away without knowing someone was targeting people is not kool.. now how did they know he was firing from the second floor if he had a suppressed gun. A suppressed weapon sound almost normal unless it’s a 22 so the suppressed weapon was not the problem it was the person that did the shooting.. stop blaming the weapon.. I’m sure if it had a red dot then the talk would of been about the red dot.. sad shooting but stop blaming the object.
