  1. Here after we've lost Alex, but I really wanted to add to the topic of discussion: one of the best rule changes in any game show, in history, is when Jeopardy eliminated the 5 game limit for returning champions and allowed it to be open ended. You come back for the next game so long as you keep winning. That really opened up the appeal to the show and brought in more viewers. As long as that old rule was in place I could never understand their reasoning. If you won 5 games in a row you were done no matter what. There were a lot of contestants in the 80s and 90s who were unquestionably good enough to continue on long past 5 games, because quite a few hit that limit.

  2. Brad Rutter didn't bring his "A" Game. In fact, he didn't bring any kind of game. He basically took Daily Doubles away from James. I love Ken though, he is lightening quick and a wealth of knowledge.

  3. Brad Rutter doesn't get the recognition he deserves because he was on the show during the 5 game limit.  Brad defeated Ken in each Jeopardy showdown and, I believe, has the record for winnings on Jeopardy.

  4. What a legend James has been. He’s gone down in the history books for sure. Sad to see him lose, but his sportsmanship was incredible. You could tell he didn’t want to play any longer and gave up the game even though he could’ve won. True gentleman. He obviously chose not to dethrone ken in his last game with Final Jeopardy wager. Jeopardy will never the same. Thank you for the good times James
