  1. Sorry for my ignorance in advance but are the houses made of all wood or did the tornado destroy brick built house. The pictures look devastating, the houses look like paper ripped or flattened. Condolences and prayers for everyone effected.

  2. El Reno seems to attract tornadoes like a magnet.
The largest tornado ever recorded happened in El Reno, May 31, 2013. At 2.6 miles across it was a monster storm.
Fortunately, the tornado remained mostly over rural areas and avoided the densely populated cities. The devastation that would have occurred if it had tracked through Oklahoma City, would have been hard to imagine. However, four respected storm chasers lost their lives in that storm.
Then another tornado hit in May 24, 2011, it was rated an EF-5.
That doesn't include the tornadoes that have hit in and around that area of Oklahoma – a devastating EF-5 in 1999 occurring in Moore, Oklahoma for instance. And then again in 2013.

  3. Why do people live in aluminum cans called trailers, shouldn't they call them "launch pads"?  And even if you do live in a launch pad, can't you dig a safe underground bunker, where at least human life will  be safe from God's wrath?  Or is that considered sacrilegious? In America nobody should die as a result of a tornado….    I live in earthquake country, and I'm used to them…but if we had 10 massive quakes in a week…  I'd move somewhere safer…. like into a volcano.  Tell us how we can help…..  Should we donate to the Red Cross? Are they there?

  4. Horrible… my sincerest prayers. "Dominion is God's, the Lord of the seen and the unseen, the Lord of creation." "Is there any Remover of difficulties save God? Say: Praised be God! He is God! All are His servants, and all abide by His bidding!" ~ Baha'i Faith

  5. Mainstream media is not covering this. We’re flooding in almost every county, and had dozens of tornados rip through our state. We’re in a state of emergency

  6. "i think of the kids who wake up and think what happen" i think about the kids that dont wake up. jesus christ and now in ohio/indiana. play it safe if you have advanced warning, please!

  7. Such an infamous town when it comes to tornadoes. The largest tornado ever recorded hit this town on May 31st, 2013 measuring 2.6 miles wide at its peak. It is the storm that killed legendary storm chaser Tim Samaras along with his son and one of his buddies. Several other people also lost their lives that day.
