  1. These women freakin rock! A marathon is a marathon regardless of time. It’s the same distance no matter if it’s in just over 2 hours or just under 8. They were still moving faster than those who were eating cheese puffs while sitting on the couch.

  2. This has to be the greatest sports story of the year.
    This is also a form of cultural diversity, good sportsmanship, teamwork, determination, and sacrifice.
    A good runner cares about another runner. They both may have been last, but think about how many runners got DQ or DNF. I bet there was quite a few of those.
