  17. How sad. Day was an animal activist who promoted adoption of pets. She was the top movie star on the planet nearly fifty years ago but you would not know it because she was a humble person. R.I.P. Doris.

Oh my goodness rest in peace doors day I am 47 black female and I grew up watching a calamity Jane my mom had all her movies and I think I can sing like her 😂I could sing like that I love Doris Day oh wow she was so pretty she was so pretty wow she lived to be 97 that is so wonderful so amazing what a wonderful talent I’m so glad that Hollywood gave her a chance and she was a shining star because her divine femininity was perfect and I don’t care white Black whatever she was just a beautiful beautiful soul beautiful spirit and I think much im like a black version of the Doris Day type wonderful life

  32. I loved Doris day growing up I've seen all her movies I absolutely loved pillow talk and calamity Jane I still listen to her music what a wonderful woman rip Doris you are a legend .

  33. Doris Day was a very beautiful woman. She was wonderful on that sitcom that she did in the late 60's-early 70's. She had a really nice voice too her speaking voice and her singing voice was a joy to listen to. She had a long life and good for her.
