Followers of this growing movement say it’s not abstaining from alcohol altogether but rather taking note of how drinking alcohol has impacted you and making changes.

  1. Even for casual drinkers, after you start cutting back a little and even start eating healthier, you see changes. You go out and after a few drinks you really start feeling bad as your tolerance fades and you want to drink less and less. Hopefully this will catch on because there's plenty of people with alcohol problems who can't quit because it's ingrained in the social fabric that this is what you do as an adult. All alot of people really need is something in their hand to drink to ease the social tension, I've found, because it's not natural for alot of people to huddle around and talk BS.

  2. As a clean and sober person in recovery, I don't feel accepted in the mainstream, as soon as people find out I was a drug addicted, alcoholic, most of them start judging, but these people are trending? WTF? What really needs media attention is how addicts and alcoholics are regular people, and how they can get help. We have an opiate EPIDEMIC in our country right now. We must remember how serious this is for so many people.

  3. β€πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’™πŸ’œβ€πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’™πŸ’œβ€πŸ’šπŸ’›I study in private on why do people really truly drink and do drugs to calm down or let loose!!!
Really remarkable if you really think what your capability is over power want me to take drugs and alcohol versus it coming naturally to relax or to get crazy like you did when we were kids before we knew about meds got. Right this minute by getting older with happens to all of us because the maturity is supposed to sit in a maturity isn't equal to acting out crazy obviously the two are not similar selling all day of expected to have that maturity and then when you go to have your fun somewhere down the line you lost it..
And Know it is not so easy to feel as happy for some reason as an adult versus prior to the first 10 years of your life and it's a week to retrieve that that somehow and Again Naturally that some reason the natural. Replace with drugs and alcohol because inside we could no longer produce that stimulation as naturally….to get it started without drugs and alcohol… and now we have to change our minds of the way of our thinking that we must have drugs and achole to feel better!!!!
    That the hardest to do..!!!

  4. This is one of the most amazing things I have seen recently! I don’t drink anymore and I could not be happier! I am finally in control of my life and my health! I cannot wait to go try out these bars! I’ve been wondering how am I going to meet other people who don’t drink or who are sober curious.

If anyone is struggling with alcohol or if anyone wants a changed mindset on alcohol I highly recommend reading Annie Graces book β€œThis Naked Mind: Control Alcohol, Find Freedom, Discover Happiness & Change Your Life”.
This book has completely changed my life and my idea of alcohol. This book took away any desire I had to drink!
Alcohol kills more people than any other drug including illicit drugs yet everywhere we turn alcohol is on a billboard or pushed in our face somehow. How can this watered down sugary poison be so normalized in our society when it not only damages our mind and body, but kills so many people everyday?

Anyone curious about sobriety- don’t knock it til you try it! Best of luck to everyone! My heart is so full! Alcohol used to erase me, but now I am back!

  5. I just dont drink, and its cause of a bad somewhat a bad childhood. Well, not really. I didn't like my dad drinking when I was younger. So it's a choice.

  6. Love. It! One of my fellow practitioners used to drink 1 glass of wine after dinner, too unwind. He had very high levels of Arsenic, because of it. After stopping and getting retested(in 3 months) his levels were normal…
