  1. I used to be in the bar business. We cut a customer off after one drink as it became obvious that he had been drinking before getting to our establishment. Got him into his girlfriends car ( the DD) and off they went.
They started arguing on the way home so he decided to jump out of the car at 60 kms per hour and of course was badly hurt.
He then tried to sue us. It cost us thousands in legal fees but the case was eventually tossed.
So many people refuse to take responsibility for their actions now a days, sad .

  2. Don’t like golf and don’t have anything against tiger woods but sometimes people just want to blame someone but blaming a restaurant for your son drinking more than he should is his own fault .

  3. Tiger is not the person at fault! THIS young man who passed has an addiction that was apparently known to his family. It was his own actions that caused this tragedy. Tiger was not there. Why sue him? Talk about using a human life…Tiger/ young man who passed

  4. of all the jobs out there this guy has to be a bartender … his family wanted the owners to babysit him … it's sad that it happened but suing because they didn't watch him is a long shot …. his family shouldn't throw stones since they too knew  where he  worked ,

  5. Guarantee this wouldn’t have been in the news if it were just like an Olive Garden. Or they wouldn’t have sued.

  6. If he was addicted to alcohol, why was he drinking, why was he a bartender, and why would other people have to babysit him? He's a grown adult and should take care of himself.

  7. Crooks steal from the cash register & Alcoholics steal from the bottle. He was a bartender. Every time he drank water or soda, did someone taste it? Alcoholic's normally can drink higher amounts & give the appearance of being ok. This is a story of the fox guarding the hen house. It's hard to believe that an alcoholic bartender only drank after he punched out from work…

  8. There are many cases where the owner is held responsible. It is a part of having a liquor license. So it's not just Tiger. He should have known the possible liability before deciding to get in the business. It's high risk.

  9. I’m sorry for the family however if the family knew their son had a drinking problem the they should have talked to him and gotten him help. He’s an adult and he made the worst choice and he paid for it with his life! Sad part is he got in a car and drove home. That was his choice and not the family is looking for a pay out!

  10. Son should not have been drinking that much. Sorry but all these parents trying to blame restaurants for their family members losses is not fair!
