  1. I was driving home a month ago and a family of ducks were crossing a major intersection where the highway entrance and exit is. There were I think five little baby ducks and it took them a couple minutes to get across. I'm glad to say everyone was cool and the ducks made it to a creek on the other side.

  2. Years ago I heard a cop tell a story about when he and his partner responded to a call about a squirrel in the house. I wish I had recorded it. It ended up with falling down attic stairs, the homeowner getting his face bashed by the cop's maglite, and the sofa being set on fire. Among other things. I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe.
