  1. New idea please read: when pilot is making an emergency landing or shock
    or temperature sensors get activated – overhead bins lock automatically
    , now nobody can retrieve their luggage. Please , thank you!!! more

  2. For the superjet botched landing maybe it was the pilot's first attempt to land a fully fueled jet and that played a role.

    Some airlines train pilots in simulators rigged with many oddball emergencies and non-ideal take off & landing scenarios.
