being 18 and you passed away in boot camp of the navy you had other issues they are not saying most likely she lied or didnt know i was 17 in the 80s went through both army and marine corp boot camps

Could have been food allergies, pre-existing condition/lied about condition, or literally had a weak heart
It wasn’t the PFA that killed them, it was most definitely some kind of underlying condition that was either missed or waived in MEPS, or she knew about it and lied about it.

If I'm not mistaken they starve you and dont give you any water so maybe she died of dehydration and mayb she didn't eat in days bc she was nervous about camp then died of hunger too?

Umm…you do understand she joined the United States Navy? Granted its not the Marine Corps, but still…they are being trained for potential combat at times…this was a simple PFT test…your daughter clearly had some heart condition…whether known or unknown, that's not the Navy's fault..

My RDC told me about this girl, graduated a few days ago and he said it was a lack of oxygen in the blood and he thought she was (being over dramatic) but soon realized it wasn’t and was too late, it’s tough but happens especially the run
The two girls probably had other underlying issues. The PT isn't going to kill a normal healthy person. Especially at the end of boot camp. Sad nonetheless

People need to understand when you join the military your signing your self up for stuff like war or depending on what your doing. But it's discipline it's training you should be excited but expect it not to be fun

First, my condolences are with the families. I am a military veteran. I served in TWO branches and went TWO different boot camps(Army and Navy). I made it through BOTH. I do not believe it was the PFA/PT that these individuals died from. I believe there were underlying conditions which weren't revealed for whatever reason.
