  1. What a great video! Although James is originally from Chicago, we here in Las Vegas are so proud and excited for him. He has been very philanthropic as well. James has donated to several of our local non-profits for children. We can't thank him enough for his generosity and human kindness. Continued success to you James in all you do.

  2. 30 wins now.
2.52 million in normal-show winnings which means he just passed the record held by Ken Jennings.
And his average over the entire 30 episodes is bigger than the previous SINGLE DAY record.
    James Holzhauer broke Jeopardy 🙂

    Prize for the champion: $500,000

Point value for clues in the Jeopardy round (starting from the top going down): 400; 800; 1200; 1600; 2000

Point value for clues in the Double Jeopardy round (starting from the top going down): 1000; 2000; 3000; 4000; 5000

Minimum amount of points for finding a Daily Double: 10,
