  1. Certain members within the military hierarchy attend war colleges and advanced officer training. They are specifically taught that this stuff happens, meaning broken men and women with life-long mental and health problems. Whereas members of the public and enlisted people just glean most of it. In watching HBO's "Boardwalk Empire", the bruisers, gangsters, and the hitman Richard Harrow are a product of the "Great War". Iraq was a dumb move that cost so much and will continue to haunt society for the next hundred years. (The Opioids Epidemic is the same as the morphine/opium and cocaine problem of yesteryears.) People who are too dumb to tell a Mexican from an Ecuadorian, a Greek, a Turk, a Filipino, a Malaysian, a person from the Steppes, or San Pedro, CA really shouldn't get trained to kill. But what do I know? I just try to use most of my brain daily. To be as dumb as that man would be an embarrassment too great to bear.

  2. This a sad story. And hopefully all involved make a speedy recovery. The government definitely need to do a lot more to aid in the mental and physical health of war veterans. These individuals have see the most gruesome and horrific events.

  3. I am a veteran and have been to two combat theaters. This is not tolerable and he did not live the army values of protecting US citizens and freedom of religion. This person needs to be punish to the maximum penalty, if the allegations are true of a hate crime. There is no debating this. I have suffered after leaving the army and taking innocents lives is not excusable no matter what

  4. PTSD my ass! bet this PO hispanic S only joined the army to get his sick fantasies satisfied by kiling innocent iraqis. firing squad for him and those who push for unethical wars. We have NO BUSINESS being in iraq

  5. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims of this horrific tragedy. Our GOVERNMENT must do a better job at taking care of our wounded and mentally ill veterans. Some of them have witnessed what we can never imagine (heads detached from the body, bodies shredded to pieces, children killed, etc.)… Our veterans deserve the proper care and treatment. There are way too many tragedies that have been caused by Vets with PTSD. This just saddens me… I'm praying for a speedy recovery for all of the victims. 🙏🏽🙏🏽😢😢
