  1. The guy that killed her is creepy. Those eyes and chin omg. He just went from one famous person to the next then back to Rebecca. Just sad

  2. I totally respect her parents for allowing her to go to New York at 16 years old and go to pursue her dreams as a model and then to the Professional Children’s School of acting so that she can start her career as an actress. If we would’ve cameras like we do now, maybe her death could’ve been prevented. She wasn’t a huge star, just some guy’s crazy mad obsession that sadly turned to tragedy.

  3. It really IS always the very best, sweetest and most wonderful people among us to leave this world early- rebecca schaeffer, heather o'rourke, selena, brittany murphy, river phoenix.. 😞

  4. I’m reading a book about this murder now and it’s so so sad and scary. She had a meeting for her biggest role yet that could of seriously changed her life. Robert was deeply disturbed and was fixated on Mark chapman who killed John Lennon. He repeatedly read the book “ The Catcher In The Rye” that mark was carrying on him when he killed John and mark said this is the book that told him to kill John. Robert was carrying this book on him the day he killed Rebecca and had read over it again right before going back to her house. He also said the song “Exit” by U2 told him to kill Rebecca.

  5. For all you people judging her parents about why they let her go and things like that, read this: Rebecca was a teen model and besides this she was pursuing a career. She did not live alone and she was not by any means provocative. Stop accussing her or her parents because a lunatic killed her. Instead of judging her think about when you wanted to do something in your lives and your parents stopped you.

  6. Oh I member when this happened, that goofball put the fear in a lot of tv stars that started demanding security, rides to and from the studio, and an armed guard with automatic weapons with a carry /conceal license. I heard some sick SOB that was on a free tour of the Golden Girls set went to the restroom during the when taping and wandered into Bea Arthurs dressing room by mistake and the armed guard thought he was just another psycho with a panty fetish stealing a souvenir they had to scrape up what was left when the shooting stopped and the smoke cleared. Poor lost and confused son of a gunmaker!

  7. Y’all saying her parents shouldn’t have let her move to NY bc she was “too young” just victim blaming. She moved when she was 16. She died at 21. In her own apartment building. She wasn’t knowingly put in harms way
