Repent so you can rejoice and not go to hell for idolatry. It's idolatry. And that's what God thinks about it based on what He did.
    At first I thought they were talking about the Roman collesium was on fire and didn't even look at it. Heard a headline on it that referenced the "church" and celebrated! Maybe some of them will come out from among them! They've strayed from the faith and call themselves Jews when they are not. They're not Christian. Or they'd never pray to Mary or any angel or any Dead man they deemed as a saint. Jesus is the only intercessor! Mary doesn't hear your rosary prayers. She's in paradise and deaf to your prayers. Or how else could it be paradise for her? Constantly bombarded with the prayers of world? Bit Jesus is big enough to handle them all and has time for you and wants a relationship with you. Come out from among them. They've strayed from the ways of their fathers and have adopted tradition as doctrine and are teaching millions of souls to commit blasphemy daily! No wonder God brought it down. Amen.

  4. Heartbreaking. Just heartbreaking. 850 years of meticulously beautiful craftsmanship damaged. But, thank God, this fine building still stands. I'm sure it will be restored in a loving and meticulous way, and, with the help of modern technology, much quicker than anticipated in years past.

  14. My problem is how they were saying it’s an accident while it was burning and having no idea why. If accident they’re complete idiots for letting soemthing like this happening.

  15. Three things to consider:
    Le Bras Freres, a contractor noted for their many restoration projects of cathedrals throughout Europe and its skilled workers would have known better not to leave behind incendiary devices especially since the fire broke out when all the workers had left. It is not like they are still using candles or lanterns while working.

    Inez Madani, an Islamic radical, was recently sentenced to jail for attempting to propane-bomb the cathedral in 2016. One would think that after this incident, security would have been tightened around the area.

    The fire, if started by a candle or a faulty electrical wiring, would not have burned so fiercely and brilliantly. Regardless of the 800 year old age of the building, the intensity of the fire seem to be extraordinarily bright. Old wood are one of the hardest material to burn. One can only compare a burning campfire being doused by an accelerant.

    To claim that it was accidental is to divert further inquiries & investigations into the true cause. Certainly, it seems that “when there is smoke, there is fire.” And this smoke seems to be coming not from the cathedral but elsewhere.

  25. Amazingly the famous stained glass roset and the Organ are intact. It proof that the most heath was higher up where the roof was burning down. The wall structure and 2 Bell Towers are safe! President Macron said last night that the Notre Dame will be rebuild/restaured fully. Donations already succeeded over 350 Million Euros!

  26. This comment section is so bad. This church is a marvel. Paris suffered a great loss and they need help and prayers. Everyone in the comment section is like the Muslims did it, the Liberals did it. Can we not have a scapegoat because you people are making this whole situation worse. There are so many people berating other people because of their beliefs or politics. Don’t bring politics into this. Stop saying that this is an act of arson until you know what happened. Paris and France needs prayers not a scapegoat.
