14. May Paris recover. May EUROPE recover! I am from Sweden and I have only visited the Notre Dame once, but I feel greatly saddened. I feel pain on a personal level.
    Whether this was an accident or deliberate, it's a heinous cultural crime to such an historic and beautiful building.

    With Paris firefighters puzzled on how to proceed and no one is thinking of using Bombardier CANADAIR Water bombers to put out this inferno. This cathedral could have been saved if Paris and France authorities had been more aware of the danger and used the proper tools. Canadair Water bombers early on, when Paris firefights fighting through traffic just to get there and setting up their equipment, those planes could have dramatically reduce the damage. Every major cities should have Canadair type water bombers close by with sky firerfighter ready to take off, exactly for this kind of emergency.

    French authorities quickly declared this was not a terrorist attack, even before an investigation even started; but if it was a terrorist attack by non-christians against christianity, it would have been as easing an putting paint thiner on rags along the wooken structure of the cathedral, to obtain a spontaneous combustion.

I honestly do not know which one is true. I will have to call one of the TV preachers to get the truth.

31. I never got to visit or take my family. What a shame to not have been able to appreciate such a historical site. I just learned it was built in 1163. At least the iconic twin bell towers were saved. Let's see what they can restore without losing it's significance.
