  3. Did Baldwin have ANY kind of training with guns??? This is nothing to play around with. Heads will be rolling here.
    The families much be in so much pain over this. Just AWFUL. Wouldn't wish this on anyone. So horribly sad.

  6. I’ve been looking for an explanation as to how this can happen (thinking of Brandon Lee). This is the best I’ve seen and I am sharing this knowledge: “Even a prop gun properly loaded with blanks can inflict a fatal injury. See Jon Eric Hexum’s tragic death due to horse play with a prop gun. The fact that this one killed one person and injured another suggests something was lodged in the barrel when the gun was fired. Similar to Brandon Lee’s death, a gun loaded with “blanks” still has enough powder to force an object down the barrel and into a target. In this case, the prop fun may have effectively become a shotgun. Who knows, the prop gun may have actually been a shotgun instead of a pistol. Remember, prop funs in the Hollywood productions are usually real guns loaded with ammo that does not contain a projectile (bullet head) AND a reduced amount of propellant, aka “blanks”. The person shooting the was not at fault if this accident happened during a scene. The production company choice of gun wrangler, or more likely gun wrangler, is going to determine who is at fault here. No one is going to jail, but insurance is going to make a big payout.

  9. Who prepared that damned statement? The movie studio? Baldwin's agent? A PR firm? "Prop" guns are fake. A "prop" gun cannot shoot you. Cannot kill you. Same for "blanks". They cannot kill you either. Real guns shoot real bullets. That's how people die. So, who prepared that statement? Everybody's repeating the word, "prop" on the news. Calling it a "prop" gun. Insinuatng it wasn't a real gun… It is a real gun. Perhaps, the intent was to use it as a "prop". That doesn't make the real gun, a prop gun.

  11. Somebody was holding a terrible grudge against the actor and found a most tragic but favorable moment to present this evil. Find out the authoritative personel, to the very last hand, who is responsible for the handling of this property that held that projectile. Law Enforcement, jump on this. It's imperative! There is an evil, well intentioned monster out there who wants someone else as the fall guy. Don't give them that chance. That perpetrator must pay.

  13. Unless alec was carelessly popping off rounds between scenes, The director, prop manager, armourer and victim messed up. They set up the shot. I would not have been standing there.
