3. Thank you for your honest review. I cannot afford a Z Fold so the Z Flip 3 is more than good enough for me. I charge my flip up to 85% only. That usually lasts me 24 hours or more depending on how much I use it. My Z Flip 3 is used for calls, text messaging, IG, photography and occasional googling during the day. At night, I turn it off and use my old Samsung S9, which is still going strong. I take good care of my flip hoping it will last for at least 3 years. 😅

7. Just got my Z Flip 3, upgrading from an iPhone XS Max. Only thing I dislike is the battery, but otherwise I love the phone!

    Plz do tell me about how bad is the battery drain on the Z Flip 3 as I have heard from many reviewers that SOT of Z Flip 3 was just 3-4 hours of moderate to heavy use.
    I’m interested in Flip 3 but only thing stopping me is the smaller battery.
    Do u think I’ll be okay? (I’m coming from iPhone 12).

    But, my Moto Z4 with its $50 battery mod, literally, changed my life. I simply cannot bring myself to let this phone go.

    I'm probably going to get that upcoming double-fold Samsung, though.

23. Unless you have small pockets, I really don't see a practical point of getting the flip. The other benefits are all superficial, such as being able to show off something unique.

24. Flip for me, since I want a smaller phone. I'm a heavy tech user, but if it's something I can't do on my phone then it's something I should be doing on my laptop or tablet in the first place. So far the Flip 3 has been amazing. I saw the Fold 2 in person and it was so ugly/clunky and way too thick. I need something I can hold in one hand.

    So people claiming Flip 3 is just for aesthetics are out of touch with reality lmao. I physically can't hold a Fold. It's too heavy and aggravates my arm injury, and most flagship phones are too heavy for me to hold very long. The Flip is absolutely perfect for my needs, and I'm more than fine with sacrificing battery life for the more convenient form factor. Big QoL improvement.

    The Fold and the Flip are not targeted to the same market. So all y'all commenters saying stuff like 'if you're paying that much just get a Fold since it's better'? You're missing the damn point.

28. Again someone thats wrong about the underscreen display camera in the Fold 3, xD. Having used the device for over 2 weeks now I can confidently say they made the right choice. Consuming media with a nigh invisible selfie shooter is amazing. So much better than a holepunch or a notch.

    Also yet another youtuber that doesnt account for Androids battery optimizing on new devices taking a few weeks to conform to your usage. Battery life is always lower at the start while the SOC, screen, and refresh rate run in turbo 100% while its still adapting to your usage patterns.

32. As a heavy media user who is a tech head the simple answer is the Fold however at a $1000 premium over the Flip there are cheaper alternatives to feed my media appetite as such a simple means of communication the flip is far more compact and pocket friendly as a traditional phone.

34. Have been using the Flip 3 for a week now and agree with your view.
    It's as fast as any other flagship right now, decent cameras, feels premium in the hand, but ok bettery life.
    Being able to take selfies with the main cameras using the cover display is an awesome feature as well.

36. First of all- I don't have that much money to buy these phones
    2nd- My 8 yr old iphone 6 is still working flawlessly and still recieving updates
    3rd- My phone can bend better than these two phones when needed

38. I upgraded my Note 10+ 5G to a Z Fold 3 5G and I really happy with mine. It’s my most favorite phone ever and I hope it becomes more mainstream because it’s an amazing device.

39. I'm getting a Fold when Samsung can finally insert an S-Pen into it and price reaches $999. By then, Flip may only be $699. Fold is for hardcores and the rich.

40. Fold 3 is Samsung's 2021 flagship. It's really the Note 21. Flip 3 is an entry to foldables and resurrects flip phones. But Fold 3's $1800 price scares most people.

41. Flip 3 is for fun. Fold 3 is for work. But who is to say Fold 3 can't be fun? Bigger screen. Nicer UI. Longer battery life. Better cameras. More useful external display. DEX support.

42. Flip 3 is Phone of the Year for being that affordable gateway drug to foldables. It's the Fashion Phone of the Year. But I'll admit Fold 3 is the superior device.

43. Surface Duo is another great option for emulation. It's only $400. Love that tent form. But it lacks software polish of the Fold. SoC from 2019 and only 6 GB RAM.
