6. This just warms my heart. I placed my oldest for adoption and six weeks later joined the military. 30 years later, that boy is a soldier as well… And his children call me grandma. I didn’t think I would see him again after I sent him to his parents at eight days old. Something I never dreamed would happen… I was there when his first child was born. I had two more children after I placed him for adoption. He just sees them as his brother and sister now. I am so grateful for his family and for the opportunity that I have to be part of it. Not every birthmother gets to see all of their hopes and dreams for these babies become reality. 🥰
