Fances Haugen, a former Facebook product manager, testified before a Senate subcommittee on Tuesday and claimed that the social media platform manipulated content it knew was harmful to young users.

  5. Why does this newsreader never face the camera head on? He keeps his face turned while his eyes face the camera. I guess the producers told him his 3/4 view is his most attractive. This guy always keeps his face turned away. It looks kind of weird, frankly.

  7. When a whistleblower gets immediate attention, a 60 minutes interview and a congressional hearing, while most whistleblowers go to jail, you have to question what's being presented. She's ultimately asking for government to take more control of social media. The under the radar government control of social media will be elevated to "necessary".

It's honestly beyond shocking that we don't have a federal oversight agency specifically for monitoring social media companies that connect literally BILLIONS of people, to ensure fair and ethical practices. No one with that kind of power should be allowed to run amuck and abuse it in whichever way makes the most money.
