If that guy had Covid a year ago, there wasn't a vaccine yet. I had long Covid and, a year later, still have symptoms but I know that as someone who is vaccinated, I also took a risk by subjecting myself to an experimental medical procedure and the side effects are just now starting to be revealed (e.g. The Pfizer shot admitted mustered to boys age 15 and younger are more likely to experience adverse reactions from the shot than to get sick from Covid). Let's face it, the vaccinated and the unvaccinated are taking a risk.

There is a big difference between anti-vaxxers who don't believe the science and between people who simply don't want to be FORCED by the government to take the vaccine.
Flu shots were never mandated, but I got one every year, just because it made good sense. So what’s the big deal? How is a Covid shot different from a Flu shot?
It seems to me that this vaccine controversy has more to do with politics than health.
Is forcing those who refuse to get a vaccine, a test to see if they can force us to comply with new future government mandates, for whatever reason the government decides?
And if we don’t, do we become “second class citizens” who will be denied certain rights, such as the freedom to gather to protest the government?

a good friend of mine recently died of covid and was fully vaxxed. I also know 17 fully vaxxed people who've gotten covid. I guess they are all some of the "very rare" cases. I will believe my own eyes on this, not this media scare tactic.
All a "Nationwide Mandate" means is that the incompetent moron sitting in the White House formally requested you to get vaccinated. Mandates are not laws. Laws must be passed through the House and Senate to be voted on and then sent to the resolute desk to either be signed or vetoed by the potus.
