  1. These "climate wizards have been predicting another "ice age" or claiming "the planet is going to burn up" for over 100 years. I'll start in 1967 because going back 100 years is way too much to cover. In 1967 scientists predicted a major famine by 1975. Never happened. Not even a slight food shortage. In 1969 they said "everybody will disappear in a cloud of blue steam within 20 years." Obviously that didn't happen. In 1970 they said there would be “water rationing by 1974 and food rationing by 1980.” Never happened. That same year they predicted "a new ice age by the 21st century." This was 11 years after they had said we were going to burn up "in a cloud of blue steam.” In 1971 they doubled down on the "new ice age" prediction. In 1974 they claimed "space satellites show new ice age coming fast." Still hasn't happened. In 1988 they changed their minds about the “new ice age” and claimed the heat was going to kill us. They predicted that “sea levels were going to rise from melting ice” and that “rising sea levels were going to swallow up many small islands within 20 to 30 years.” We haven't even come close to losing a single island ANYWHERE. They doubled down on that prediction in 1989 saying "Rising seas could obliterate nations by 2000." Never happened. There are hundreds of these "the world is going to end" predictions. Research it.

    By the way, the "new green deal" is BS too. For example electric vehicles take 40 to 50 hours to fully charge. They need a minimum 3 to 4 hours to go even a short distance. Imagine everyone driving an electric vehicle and trying to use charging stations? Instead of a few gas pumps there will need to be hundreds of these charging stations in place of one gas station. No more 5 minute gas fill ups. That ought to be real fun especially if you are in a hurry. You'd better reserve a hotel and make restaurant reservations while your car charges, which will cost you another $150 dollars or more. Those who own electric vehicles with gasoline backup systems won’t be so inconvenienced but there are still major problems to consider. One of those problems is that the country already has major problems with our current power grid. Every summer cities call on people NOT to use their air conditioners 24/7. Many electric companies already shut down your AC during peak periods. So how do they propose to be able to charge hundreds of thousands, if not millions of electric vehicles? To deliver the electricity needed for these vehicles the government will confiscate, that means STEAL, thousands upon thousands of acres of land to build more power plants and more wind turbine and solar farms. Won't that make a beautiful scenic drive? Most of this land will be farm land as it is mostly level and already cleared of trees and stumps etc. This means families losing their property and their livelihoods. It also means less food grown to feed us! They will also have to increase coal and gas usage to backup the "clean energy" farms. The very fuels they say they want to get rid of. Remember what happened in Texas last winter when their "clean energy” grid froze up leaving people without power for days? That outage killed 69 people and caused 18 billion dollars in damages. They were very proud of that “green power” until then. Then you have the MASSIVE waste problem of wind turbines going bad, solar panels going bad and the cars battery systems going bad. These cars use 8 to 12 batteries that only last 6 to 10 years depending on usage, charging habits and extreme heat or extreme cold climates. Since the battery system is the most expensive part of the electric vehicle it will be like an appliance, cheaper to buy than to repair which means even more waste to manage and we will be forced into buying a new government mandated vehicle every 6 to 10 years. No more driving a good old gas vehicle for 20 plus years. Save your money folks because there is nothing cheap or green about the “new green deal”, err NIGHTMARE! And this is only the “electric vehicle” part of the bill, err NIGHTMARE!

  3. Planet earth is a living thing. Storms, hurricanes, and tornados are its defenses for killing plagues of people. Earth is fighting back , using its immune system. Killing people are the only way the earth will survive.

  9. Global climate change on Earth is basically a derivative of astronomical processes and their cyclicity. These are processes which mankind is not able to influence today. we do not even have 5 years. we need to act now! With global cataclysms, people are left alone with their problems. We must already prepare for "Hour X". Emergency measures are necessary, uniting people into one united global family. No one alone can cope with the global problems of the next couple of years. We need to set aside all frames and conventions, we need to consolidate here and now. for our survival. Nature does not look at ranks and ranks, and only a manifestation of true commonwealth between people, based on human kindness, can give humanity a chance to survive. this Catastrophe on a planetary scale can only be stopped by building a creative society. dear ones, this is very important! A creative society is our only chance to survive.

  10. Climate has been changing for MILLIONS of years. There is NOTHING we can do about it. Al Gore got rich spewing lies and using it to write books in order to enrich himself. Al talks about it but he does not practice it, he is a hypocrite just like all liberals. "Do as I say, not as I do" is their mantra. In the 70s, 80s and 90s, liberals said world would end in 10-12 years but WE ARE STILL HERE. Can we mandate rich countries, China, Russia and other developing countries to stop emissions? The answer is NO. Our cars, medical lifesaving equipment, food, houses, clothes, shoes need machines(emissions) to be produced. Zero emissions will NEVER happen. Death is part of life. When it is time for us to die, we will die and climate change has nothing to do with it. Do NOT let liberals and liberal media like ABC brainwash you, be a free thinker.

Before you talk about climate change, pro or con, ask (a) what are the ways heat transfers (b) what are the three thermal metrics for the main and trace atmospheric gases (c) what is the ppm of CO2 in the atmosphere and what percentage of that is man-generated, (d) what is the role of CO2 in photosynthesis re plant growth, (e) the past century there has been an average annual global warming of what percentage of a degree C, according to the UN, (f) what are the sources for the statistically flawed 97% consensus, and the equally flawed main refutation? If someone cannot give adequate answers to these basic questions, let alone more difficult ones about climate models, the greenhouse effect and the roles of the ocean (Pacific Decadal Oscillation) and sun (cycles, particle flux, CME, etc.) then the science has not been looked at, not really. To listen to the climate quacking of the political talking heads, left wing or right, is a waste of time.

    Note that the rare climate science talking heads who can answer the fundamental questions (a) through (f) above almost always push the agenda of those who fund them. Suggest reading about the issue (not Wikipedia or Google, unreliable for science) Recall: FAITH EATS SCIENCE FOR BREAKFAST, and self-check to control your succumbing to the Theory of Cognitive Dissonance. If you don't like to read, on request can send links to six videos, three pro and three con, each and every one of the presenters a legitimate heavyweight. With that, plus having learned the answers to the basic questions above, you can draw your own informed conclusion. And no, I am not a climate scientist, not a scientist at all, just someone who likes to read both sides of an issue. If someone as scientifically illiterate as I am can do it, so can you. Otherwise, hold your peace.

  15. Selfish People Can’t Produce Unselfish Solutions

    In Europe and elsewhere, governments are paying colossal sums to big corporations to help them avert bankruptcy. Whether they call it a “rescue package” or “quantitative easing,” in the end it’s all the same: the government pays companies to stay operative.
    I don’t think it will work in the long run. It may keep companies afloat for another six months or a year, but as a rule, a government, any government, cannot sustain companies that cannot sustain themselves. In the end, the situation will blow up in a blast that will be worse than what it would have happened had the government let them fall naturally.
    There is more to it than that. I don’t believe that a government can do anything good for its people. Civil servants, ministers, and deputy ministers always pull their own way and have their own interests in mind. Since everyone is inherently selfish, everyone has an ulterior motive that is not for the benefit of the public.
    We cannot expect selfish people to do unselfish acts; it is like asking a tiger to become vegetarian. If it goes against nature and it won’t work. Therefore, asking people whose only focus is their own career to focus on other people’s well-being is unwise, unrealistic, and will invariably fail.
    Socialists, capitalists, far right, or far left, they are all immersed in egoism. It is not their fault; it is human nature, and we should adjust our expectation from our leaders.
    If we want a real and lasting positive change, we must transform human nature. Since our nature is selfish to the core, changing it is the only way out of the crises that the world is falling into nowadays. We will fall deeper and deeper until we realize that the problem is not the fuel we burn, the forests we cut, the water we pollute, or the people we kill. The problem is the cause of all those harms we are inflicting on nature and on each other: our inherent self-absorption. When we start working on changing ourselves rather than demanding everything and everyone else to change, we might be able to save ourselves before it is too late.

California has very poor forest management, lack of control burns,to keep dead trees and foliage cleaned out, and usually someone or thing is found to have started the fire. Hurricanes getting worse? In 1900, a hurricane hit Galveston tx and all but wiped it off the map changing forever the future of Galveston. Karla hits Mississippi coast in the 60s and flattens everything in sight. Neither times did anyone yell climate change. As man builds in areas, most time money is the driver and often simple watershed or wise use of land is cause for disaster due to floods and drought. 20 yrs ago the "experts " said we were going to freeze to death. "Climate change " has been very profitable to the likes of Kerry and others. Spend some time, research the history of weather and you might be suprised

  26. When summer here in philippines its hotter than the west but the difference is if its hot the whole day, most of the time it rains during 4pm to 10 am cooling the forests
