  2. Mary you are so special, God definitely had a plan for your life. I am absolutely horrified that your attacker only got 15 years – that is a crime in itself! The honeymoon couple got lost for a reason. Angels were all around you ministering to you, get up so that your attacker won't do that to anyone else! Mary I want to tell you something, you have a really special name. It's the name of my grandmother, Mary Madeline, and Jesus' Mother. You are a special lady and I was so touched by your story of survival – God bless you and Jesus keep you safe. xoxo 🙂

  36. I saw a different story about Mary and California changed their laws on sentences with criminals that torture because clearly he was a repeat offender and should have never gotten out

  37. I know there's ALOT in this video but did anyone else catch the B&B owner who took his guests to safety before his family? I'm sorry but it's survival of the fittest at that point

  40. I’m soo confused…I’ve heard Mary’s story before but from somebody else! Young gir in the 70s desperate to get home gets a ride from a nice looking grandpa in a large empty van. She falls asleep and wakes up to realize they’re going the wrong way. Takes her to the woods. Her shoes untied and when she goes to tie it she’s hit with a hammer. He ties her up rapes her all night. In the morning he says “I’ll set you free” then cuts her arms off and one arm was stuck to him and he was seen shaking it off… throws her down a cliff or under a bridge.

  41. I have 5 children and everyday while they go to school or out I think about monsters like this bc they are everywhere. The nicest ppl you kno & would never think of are like this. These women have real strength & are strong survivors! I'm so glad they made it & are here to tell their stories.

  44. I broke two ribs when I was 46yrs old. Fit, athletic guy, and I could barely walk to the ER from the parking lot. The pain was excruciating. Mary's story is amazing. The will to live proves that you can overcome anything.

  45. So to think Lawrence Singleton almost killed the girl after cutting her arms off… and was only sentence to 14 years. Probably only served 8 years for good behavior. Gets out and murders another woman… Great job justice system.
