No matter what happens regarding the outcome of the FBI scandal, these woman will have my full appreciation and support, and i will vocally sing the praises of what they are accomplishing and how they are educating the world on a topic that is highly critical for anyone that has children or for anyone that hold a child in their best interest, but for whatever reason is kept mostly swept under the rug. I suppose that ultimately, we as a society can't make the mistake of handing over the responsibility of our children safely to an institution outside of our own inter-relational social fabric. The real safety of our kids will come from how we understand, detect and respond to the active presence of child sexual abuse preferably before it even happens. This is what Rachel Denhollander is so fervently trying to do. Every once in a while, someone comes along that holds tremendous clarity of dynamics that drive a situation and hold the integrity and tenacity to bring large masses of people together in understanding and action. I believe that she is one of those people and could potentially spearhead a great motion to bring a societal education and response that will put our children in a far safer place than they have been. Its not just the people who enforce the law the need to be held accountable. Its also those who make and enforce the laws. We have a serious problem with people in positions of power taking the position for granted. There is a reason they get paid a lot. Its because those positions are supposed to carry risk of accountability.

Problem is systemic (policy wise if you will, whether written or implied) and those who commit the offense.
