37. I'm sorry, but why are we deporting these people back to Haiti when we know that Haiti has been devastated by an earthquake? These people are seeking asylum in America and the U.S. government is not showing any compassion whatsoever. I know that there is such a thing as "legal immigration" AND "illegal immigration", but when it comes to turning away people who are seeking a better life and protection in the United States, how can our government show such little compassion? If it were up to me, I would try to process EVERYONE so they could be allowed to come into the country regardless of the risk they pose because America's motto states "Give me your tired, your poor, and your huddled masses"…I think.
