It’s so sad, I start to let my front yard die because I want to save money, but more importantly water and had just couldn’t take my neighbors talking to me like I was poor even tho I know I’m better off than them, so I gave in and now just try to water at a minimum. For life to exist we must reestablish a balance and relationship with the planet that does not irreplacably borrow from the future or live off of the potential of others. The books Will be Balanced or all will simply disappear with no evidence we ever were.

    Was 20 feet deeper than it was 30 years ago. 20 feet is still alot considering the size of aquifer underneath. My projection is that with people using more water for agriculture and personal consumption. it will drop significantly within 20 years to another 20 feet or more. People are starting to drill holes for home usage which they were getting from the govt till a year ago.

34. In Florida, wells aren't allowed to be drilled in many areas. They cause sinkholes that affect more than the immediate area. I'm surprised that California , with all it's regulations, hasn't jumped on this one.

35. I moved from FL to Puerto Rico to small village. Tap water is undrinkable and we got scalp on head ( which I never had before) all the time. Many people don t have water and/or electricity.
