  11. Welp…they know where they live…and they didn't prepare? Better roof. A generator. Supplies to live after a hurricane. Hurricanes are a fact of life there. Prepare for them, deal with it or leave. Why are they so unprepared??? And stop building sheet metal buildings that disintegrate and make a mess for other people to clean up.   23. My heart and prayers go out to all affected by Ida .My home was damaged from Sally ,last yr in Southern Alabama, and were still trying to recover from it.

My father use to tell me only 2 type of people should be living or staying on the shore or coast, Vacationers & The Rich , that was him saying that 30 years ago If he was alive today he wouldn't be surprised ,No one getting any kind of Government assistance should be living near water Period ,My prayers are with the people afflicted by this storm

  25. Channel and destroy protective, water absorbing wetlands, park yourself on a barrier island coz you want a beach view, and this is a predictable result. The U.S. should never have allowed the kind of environmental destruction along the coastlines that's there. And folks will build right back. I feel bad about all the pollutants destroying fisheries and habitats from all the chemicals and garbage that ends up in the water.
