2. First of all, that's not true. Likely some of the equipment was "rendered inoperable", but by and large the Taliban acquired massive stockpiles of USABLE weapons and vehicles. This is a known fact that the Pentagon thinks they can just deny out of existence. But even it if were true that nothing left behind was usable, does that now somehow make it okay to leave $90 billion of taxpayer-funded military equipment in a hostile foreign country? Usable or not, it's wasteful and shameful.
