  22. The west have weaponized women's rights and feminism against Afghanistan just like they did in Iraq. No one bats an eye to Sharia Law and Islamic Law in Saudi and other muslim countries, but when Afghanistan implements it everyone goes batshit. After the soviets and the americans, it is clear that Afghanistan is ungovernable by foreigners. They should be left to dictate what happens to their own country without foreign influence and left to solve their own problems.

    The US have only worsened the state of the country and sadly, it's likely it is better off under the control of the Taliban. At least the Taliban outlaw bacha bazi and have stopped the cultivation of opium (Both of which the US tried to stop and at one point they were bribing warlords with viagra to rape boys with). When the Taliban stopped the cultivation of opium the last time before the US intervened, the death rate to opium in the USA dropped tremendously.

    And the Taliban are slowly caving into worldwide backlack and pressure and have stated that women will be allowed to go to school and take jobs. (Seemingly only in the fields of medicine/health and education, but better than absolutely nothing)
