Leaving Afghanistan has left a tremendous vacuum in this region of the World. It was slowly starting to gain some stability. In my opinion we should have focused our efforts on removing the corruption by the Government of Afghanistan. Could it be that our fearless leaders were participants? If so … You can fill in the blanks. I hear many politicians saying China wants us there and by leaving it makes China more vulnerable. I disagree. China has now recognized the Taliban as a legit Government. By doing so it gives China a strategic inroad (And China has lots and lots of Mula). The inroad, a new silk road to Iran for their Oil. What else? Guns and weapons.for everyone (very profitable). And the big prize! What is the most valuable and rare commodity on Planet Earth? Rare Earth Elements. And Afghanistan has them in abundance. Afghanistan has rare earth elements such as lanthanum, cerium, neodymium, and veins of aluminium, gold, silver, zinc, mercury, and lithium. These are used in everything from electronics to electric vehicles, and satellites and aircraft. Between Opium and Rare Earth Elements the Taliban will become even more wealthy than they currently are. Agreement will be made and consummated. The Freedoms and Rights of the Afghan people don't matter to The Power Brokers of China or Afghanistan, or Iran or Iraq or Syria and the rest (The Prophets are false, The Profits are Real). etc … .
