  1. I'm normally not a naysayer, but I have to say it is an insane waste of energy putting tourists into space for 11 minutes of enjoyment. Not saying it doesn't look fun – it does! But isn't it obvious that each of us in the developed world is already using more resources than the earth can provide? How many Joules of energy did it take to put this capsule into space without any benefit to humanity? This is the just the latest toy for the rich kids who are already using much more than their share. There are much cleaner ways to stimulate dopamine and our ancestors have been doing this for thousands of years without spewing toxic fumes and greenhouse gases into the air.

  2. What an arrogant Tosser that Bezos guy is!!! So disrespectful to William Shatner turning his back on him. Looks like spraying champagne was more important than listening to Shatner's experience :/

  3. This is a very very good move by Besos, my respect has increased 2 to 3 fold because of his choice of using William Shatner to pilot his space ship. We need experience today, and instead of discarding the elderly we can use their experience. William has been where no man has been before 1000 times, he knows space like the back of his hand. Piloting this space ship needs experience and I think William is the man for the job. Beos, awesome choice

  4. Omg how unprofessional?! So Shatner at 90 years old is about to talk about his experience in space and there is women screaming and champagne showers.
And Shatner is stepping aside waiting to do his story.
Bezos you are a moron…how about a professional camera crew at the scene and a bus to escort the screaming women away from someone who actually has something to say to the world?
    Jezus…

  5. This is a good move by Besos to bring in a man with more experience going into space than almost any other man. He has gone where no man has gone before. Its so important to have people of this calibre with real space experience especially with these new start up ventures etc and space is a hostile environment. Kirk we salute you
