A political war where one side can fire indiscriminately and the other can’t by ROE…… this policy of winning hearts and minds failed from the start and people ate this garbage up.. The U.S was there for a mission and we succeeded that mission. Seriously think the u.s would invest in the infrastructure of Afghanistan ☠️. Everything set up had an exit plan in place people really trying to compare this to like a conventional war where both sides wear uniforms this is a civil war just like Samalia/ Panama/Vietnam/syria. Many many people predicted this….The left wing news and other world leaders just fell in behind Joe who gave the Taliban a "victory date" by announcing a date in which the USA will be out "no matter what". They never questioned whether that was a good idea. In fact they seemed to think it was a "better" idea than Trump's plan to withdraw which threatened military consequences if the Taliban advanced.
