  1. Yeah we've all heard that years ago, athletes never got water breaks but when the players are children these coaches have no right to play chicken with their lives. Its different in college or in the pros but not with minors. I hope this sets a precedent and coaches take note.
Hugs to her parents. Hang in there.

  2. Seriously? These coaches are being charged with murder because the player didn’t speak up and say HEY i need a break, I’m hot, I need water. That’s on the player not the coaches what a joke

  3. Whatever it would cost to house him for however many guests he would get if found guilty of murder, they should just take that money, out some more with it, and actually go about educating other coaches rather than throwing someone in a cage.

  4. Manslaughter seems to be a case but god damn, murder? I’ve had to run stairs when it was hot. It didn’t really feel like coach was tryna kill us all. Calling it murder seems fucked.

  5. How come the coaching staff of the Minnesota Vikings did not go to jail when a player died or took the school to jail when that kid was found rolled up in that mat? WITH MISSING ORGANS?! KEEP THAT SAME ENERGY!

  6. How horrific!!!! So tragic and preventable. What an absolutely BEAUTIFUL child. This story breaks my heart. Obvious horrible negligence.

  7. "For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come." — 1 Timothy 4:8 KJV

  8. This is not murder! These are coaches who were trying to make the girls basketball team elite. Unfortunately this tragedy happened but to those who know and played high school sports there is a week in the summer called “hell week” that we had to go through.

  9. Be aware, ABC monitors your comments. If they do not align with their agenda, they are removed quickly. For the past 23 days we have been testing this theory, and it was confirmed.

  10. How in the world can coaches be charged for this? People really are losing their sanity. The coaches didn't have a gun pointed at her head. She could've said "I'm done" and leave. Nobody forced her. Wtf is wrong with you people??

  11. Indicted for murder ? Seriously? Maybe she had terrible health and the coaches didnt know about it. but yeah breaks and staying out of the heat is huge

  12. This happens almost every year. Coaches need to be educated about how hard train kids when dealing with the heat. I wouldn't wanna be outside as the coach let alone make the kids workout in it. Smh

  13. I had a heat stroke after working out. When I got inside the building to eat I fainted in the lunch line. When I woke up I was in the hospital with a iv in my arm. Also my monthly had come on. Thank God I made. Rip young lady

  14. Sorry he isn't guilty… Period
No coach forces you. I blame parents for not checking their health if they can play sports and our government not having medicare for all. Coaches need more than 20 years to be head coaches. I blame the schools

  15. Rest in heaven child it’s really heart breaking. but what happened to athletes being able to take heat? Everything is in doors now so when they go outside it’s now too hot for them to even walk smh

  16. My heart breaks for this family. I'm not sure "murder" is the correct charge. This young girl needs justice. No way KIDS should be doing this kind of physical activity in those conditions
I wonder what type of training these coaches and other responsible staff had. If this is one of those schools (Academy's) geared toward athletics I am also curious who's responsible
