25. The Taliban, it seems, is making NO effort to stop the massive crowd of Afghans in a helter – skelter and disorganized way,, scrambling to get to the airport, to flee the country. It is one more problem for US authorities, trying to evacuate , and one less problem for the Taliban. Good riddance to them. Many clinging to the fuselage of cargo planes, are not those whom the U.S. is trying to evacuate. but may in fact be Afghan, so-called soldiers, who had surrendered their weapons, and humvees and willing to shout :" Death to America, to appease the Taliban. If they are so desperate as to throw themselves in front of an airplane to escape, why did they not display the same determination in fighting Taliban. Some may actually be Taliban suicide bombers and terrorists, trying to sneak in with the flow of evacuees , to establish a terror base in another unsuspecting country.
