2. There was a lot of evidence and knowledge and warnings in advance. Management just took its sweet time fixing things, that's all. They knew about the issues for YEARS. But tbh, the biggest issue is that Florida got rid of their regulations that would have forced management to do something in a more timely manner. Most states have better regulations than Florida. They had a law just like 10 years ago that would have prevented it, but they had to go all "'Murica! Freedom!" and trust private parties to spend money to keep up with maintenance. 🙄

3. Everyone you could hear in this video survived, btw. The only people who survived the initial collapse but that perished later were under the rubble and would not be audible in this video. (And yes, unfortunately there were some people who they just couldn't get to in time…but most people would have died immediately.) What you are hearing are the residents stranded on the remaining tower. All of those were rescued. RIP to the 98 people who perished (and the beloved pets.) 😢💔

9. That video was the worst of them all. That officer ignored a man asking for help in spanish . Man's wife was hurt. If he thought the man was going to hit his car than the wife must of been injured. Officer still chose not to help because he didn't speak spanish. 🤬🤬🤬
