After Susan Berger, a freelance journalist and breast cancer survivor, learned that she and two of her daughters have the PALB2 genetic mutation, Berger is on a mission to spread awareness and urge others to get tested. Often called the third breast cancer gene, the mutation increases the risk for breast cancer.
