  1. All statues and murals of confederate depiction should be illegal and removed.
TRUE Americans are against the people that fly the SYMBOL AGAINST AMERICA: the confederate flag. We will fight against the people that literally support killing American soldiers. Killing America to create the confederacy!

  2. Aaaaahw, you wish the confederacy was moral and good. Welp sorry but, it was evil and bad. They killed more Americans than anyone else and they and their followers deserve to…..catch a cold!

  3. That Constitution bull crap. Anytime you or anybody else brings up the Constitution you are going to be quoting and referencing slaveholders. That thing was written by slave holders.

  4. They see that teaching kids crap coming from a mile away. They're not going to let you influence their kids they've got all that taken care of. And when you ride up the street and you see a group of them coming from the freaking Dairy Queen and there all white you know it's being taught in that school. I don't understand what's so hard about it.

  5. The reason why it's so controversial and we're still having this conversation is because after the north win the war they simply didn't kill enough leaders from the south. They did not kill enough of them they did not execute enough of them they did not bring enough of them up on charges. They did not imprison enough of them. And then when they had the civil rights movement in the South the federal government went down there and again they didn't execute any of them for treason or any reason at all for murder or anyting they could have executed a bunch of them for a lot of reasons. They didn't imprison really any of them they didn't jail any of them all they did was force them out which made them spread all over the freaking country in particular the north. So that's why we're having that conversation. These idiots have not gone on to win elected seats they've gone on to have children now their children are disgusting and racist.

  6. confederate snowflakes do their battlefield reenactments but they don't like to reenactment secession speeches of their own southern statesmen. too much talk about slave property in 1860 and 1861. Robert Toombs, Alexander Stephens, Henry Benning, John C Breckinridge, James Henry Hammond, and many others.

  7. I hate that news agencies now in days report things biased. Instead of just doing the interview and reporting she has to virtue signal immediately after telling what the segment will be about.

  8. As just a neutral thing or whatever you call it or something. I dunno but basically as an artist and someone who enjoys learning about stuff including history. I find it sad that history/art is being destroyed and that what some people are doing is hypocritical and stupid, very stupid.
And yes, we do have museums to store all that stuff and I think that they should go into them cause it is history that we can't ignore. If we don't learn, we can't change. Or at least not in a positive way.

And here's a good question, for what reason besides the obvious did WWII happen? Also, why did the Civil War happen besides the basic or simple answer? It's a good question. Along with how and why did certain things get here and such? Like the Chinatowns you find in (some) cities and why did we become a county and separated from Britain?
That is why we learn history and that history to me at least, can be good example of what has worked and what has not and all that and to no repeat the past. Cause I don't want another civil war, do you guys?

Feel free to ignore though cause that always happens to me but please don't say stupid flipping swear words and such. Keep things civil people, okay? Is that too much to ask?

  9. republicans hate 2nd place participation trophies…yet don't want to part with them?… Trump and the confederacy both lost ..stop the squeal…find a safe place and a binkie…grow folks are in charge again

  10. You can show some respect for minority groups by taking these statues out of public places and moving them to a museum. Though I gotta say, if you're offended by a statue of a white dude who just happened to own slaves, this country is in deep trouble, because we were founded by such men. And we're obviously not going to take down every statue depicting a historical figure that existed before 1865. A line has to be drawn somewhere, but this toxic Confederate/white supremacist legacy in the South is definitely not helping us find it. There's a reason our country's long history of racial prejudice should be taught in schools: so we don't repeat our past mistakes. Duh. So everyone who protests the removal of these statues on the grounds that we're "erasing history" should also be in favor of the 1619 Project, as it does exactly the opposite. It looks at American history through a magnifying glass, and it ain't pretty.

  11. A fact few want to recognize is that the secessionist South was trying to preserve the original way of life in the US. The US was formed to perpetuate slavery, when English courts began to free American slaves. That, and King George's prohibiting Colonists from moving into the Ohio Country, were the two principal catalysts of the American Revolution. This is history few want to hear, but it's what happened.

  12. They could totally build a museum that they can all go to look upon and praise their Monuments, flags and history memorabilia! If the “confederate” states are from Texas to Virginia put it in the middle in Alabama! Away from people it will offend of course. We understand you are proud of your underwear. But somethings including your underwear should not be public access. It is inappropriate and offensive to others. But there are people who will admire your undies as much as you and will come to see them as much as they please !

  13. You can't teach one without the other. If you tear down the confederate statue then the other side will want to take down the Lincoln statue.

  14. we love wars… we crave war… just look at Hollywood movies… it echoes our culture… that's why we cherish war whether it was wrong or right.. i am confident that a large population in America have sympathy for nazi soldiers

  15. Aging people missing the point the civil war was about "economy"and " Slavery" a way of doing thing & a way of life at the Time🤷
Slavery was a factor yes but all the south got sick of being told what to do by the government at the time thea's Confederate stuff is part of history !
there is 2 sides to every thing !!!!
People who embrace the Confederate flag /status's embrace it for
    "MANY reasons"
    Some for Hate …
    Some for a tool of Choice/change …
Some for pride in there southern heritage
Who is aney "one" person to say
People know want to quantify thing in 1 way to explain it but when thing happened it is for Many Many factor's NOT just one🤷
People can say "PRIDE" flay a rainbow flag
Proud to be: Black, Gay people fly Mexican flags "proud to be a Mexican Americans"
    Etc
But heaven forbid someone know day's say they are PROUD to be" White "
Black pride Gay PRIDE etc is Ok🤷
Saying Proud to be a White American = automatically assume RACIST-EVIL 🤦🤷
For 200+ years the North & South civil war devided this country it is probably never going to be Truly gone
Take away the Flag, status rewrite the history books🤦🤷
But the IDEA / Though still remains a Thought/ IDEA can't be killed🤷
Just as long a just 1 person Think's about it!!!!!!!

  16. Because the people don't realize that to remove history we are doomed to repeat it and besides with this generation they have to cry about something and then the rest of us sit here and wonder wtf are they doing but hey continue to cry and I'll continue to laugh at you I don't agree with slavery but to remove statues and taking it out of the history books that's not the answer either but hey I'm just a white guy my opinion doesn't count in this country anymore

  17. Shifting The narrative is a European ideology it is that to the Hebrews and called them negroes because that's the word for black in Spanish you know 10 years before transatlantic slave trade being in Portugal auto-defase snatching their children putting them on ships to the west coast of Africa in 10 years later and Friends Atlanta slave trade happening so that's a narrative that is always been flipping the script. We used to call that hypocrisy. Don't you have to have morals in order to have a moral compass?

  18. Now on the Eve, of removing those 'statues', for the benefit of 'ALL PEOPLES', why is there certain negative 'ideals', in place here? Shouldn't us as humans (an 'intelligent' species) move on? On 'NOT' wanting to move on, specifies a real backward mindset! They use derogatory names, but in reality, who's the REAL 'ignorant' (and I don't mean the Dictionaries definition of ignorant, but the 'socially unacceptable version', but 'aimed at ALL' , the 'Caucasian' citizens, you know what I'm putting across here, for 'THEY' are 'that' true definition). These people perpetually live in an unintelligent, setback dark past. A past of hate, social segregation, and self 'GODLIKE' ego's. That MUST come to a climax my friends, for we are eminently headed towards attrition.

  19. The Confederacy Matters. It is our history. If you don’t agree, get out. We are all Americans and should celebrate our history as such. You cannot and will not erase it.

  20. The message is telling us to watch our step because their are people that still think that slavery is ok. They will hunt black people and they feel like their property was unlawfully taken. They think they are right! They have Bigfoot’s underwear 🩲 on display in Seattle! That’s the problem!

  21. And ABC has the nerve to have two light skinned black people to explain this topic! Y’all are good! Wow! That is surely what they are aiming for!

  22. Democrats want to remove Statues of Democrats, who were Confederate Slave Owners, and who started a Civil War to preserve States Powers (People have Rights, Governments have Powers) to Self-Govern, including the Legalization of Slavery (in much the same way as Democrat States have Legalized Marijuana today), and who were Defeated by Union Republicans, who Emancipated Slaves (on Juneteenth in Texas), Abolished Slavery (13th Amendment), Made Blacks Citizens (14th Amendment) and Granted Black (male) Citizens the Privilege to Vote (15th Amendment).

  23. What a bunch of brainwashed idiots on this comment section it's a statue don't look at it it's a flag tm dont let it bother you…youre the racist if it does.. it means something to someone else you think everybody likes Martin Luther king EVERYBODY? but THEY have to see his street sign every neighborhood everywhere give it a rest fools.. I suggest you fools go travel the world you'll see some real racism

  24. This man, C.J. HUNT, seems to have his facts together, and done in a way, so we 'all' can comprehend, what he's putting across. His analogy of the statues/underwear, is precisely acceptable (I assume for 'most' of us). Maybe, someone like he is, is what would make, a good leader/politician (without the "bullshit''). Right now, a good documentary director, is present. I get the 'vibes', that, he'd even greatly make, for a teacher!!

  25. No one these days can say anything right about racism these days. Racism is more complex than calculus. It's insanity. I want my childhood in the 90s back lol.
