Trump, Desantis, and Florida GOP want to legalize off shore drilling in Florida. The people who banned offshore drilling in Florida in the 80’s were afraid of this exact scenario. I am shocked that California hasn’t already outlawed off shore drilling yet.

The oil companies live for profit and if you make it so a spill will hurt that profit you can bet they will be putting in way more caution.
