1. I’m very happy these NCAA athletes will be financially compensated now but after much contemplation I’m seriously worried about these 17 and 18 year old young fellas getting seven figure money dumped into their lap. All you intelligent economic advisers please help these kids I’m serious don’t let them get devoured by the masses. I know without a doubt I would have died within a month if I was given seven figure money when I was 17. I can’t imagine the money that will be thrown at a 5* blue chip defensive lineman that Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M. Texas, and Auburn are all bidding for 😮.

2. Friends, this change in college sports is way bigger and more complicated than most people realize. Assume, along with me, that college football and basketball players bring in more revenue to the schools than the other sports and all women's sports. Are Title IX rules dead that mandate women athletes receive equal numbers of scholarships to men? If athletes are earning significant money in addition to the scholarship responsibilities to the team and their studies, how are the athletes going to prioritize their responsibilities? Will they miss classes because of a marketing engagement? Will they miss practices? Like professional sports are a business, college sports is set to become a business. How are the agents regulated? Will players change schools for higher pay or benefits? In my opinion, college sports as we knew them are dead.

   Lots of talks, conversations, disagreements, but at least its arrived- 2021.

5. 4 years at most major colleges is about $250,000 – $300,000 . So I’d say a full scholarship, IS, being paid.. as for the argument that this amount of money is “a drop in the bucket to these universities”. Tell that to say, Jeff Bezos, and the minuscule pay that amazon workers get

6. Imagine being rich, being too lazy and ignorant to come to even the slightest agreement. Let’s petition to fire the government or take from their pocket

7. Go, play balls and make money. Don't think too much. Everything else is taken care of.

They told us because of our scholarships, we don't deserve outside incomes…… Yet not everyone on the teams gets scholarship and they have to get loans…. even though there are companies willing to help students that don't receive that aid. And now those students that receive a lot of sponsors don't need the extra aid, now that there is more money coming in. And we can continue our Youtube CHANNELS 😀

9. I wonder what effect this new era will have on those 300+ non-elite D1 programs.
   What’s truly minuscule is the number of elite programs that drive most of the revenue. When we think of “College Athlete” we think of the few dozen athletes in the 12-15 elite D1 programs, not the other 500k athletes that participate in college sports. The truth is most of the “Final Four” winners are among 12 teams for college basketball. Football Bowl wins are also among 12-15 teams. So the same teams have always been winning over and over again which are the same teams making bank. But half of all D1 Basketball teams have never won a single tournament game, ever. Will this change that in any way?
